We want to thank you all for you prayers for the Ministry God had given the Chadasha Foundation in Haiti. We covet your prayers more than anything else. As many of you know there are so many needs here in Haiti. When you come to visit Haiti you cannot help but see the needs; you would have to be blind to miss them. They are staring you in the face. People need food, clothing, medicine, and a roof over their heads. The amount of need can be overwhelming. I was reminded of the problems this past Thursday when a thunderstorm passed through. We were at Carradeux and got caught in the rain. The roads we needed to pass through were all flooded in less than a hour, and 6 hours later we made it back to the mission house. We were the blessed ones; we had a dry home to return for the night. So many people do not have a dry place to stay when it rains in Haiti. Where do you start? You start with the Word of God, Jesus Christ. It is the real  message of hope to people who struggle to survive. That is why we are so blessed to serve God in Haiti. God uses these needs to prepare hearts, soil for the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Chadasha Foundation seeks to spread this message of hope through the following ministries we have in Haiti: The orphanage Retreat Center, the Heart Program, the Children's Home, and our teaching and discipleship ministry in Carradeux and other places. (Checkout the Chadasha Foundation website for more info.) God is moving and giving us opportunities to meet needs. We want to use this blog to keep you up to date. In the past we have not done a good job of this. We will commit to updating bi-monthly. We do not want this this to be one person's blog, but to get stories from many different perspectives. People whose lives are being impacted by the Word of God. We also want to let you know about the needs we come across so you can join us in prayer and watch God provide for those needs. Our commitment is to the faithfully service our Lord, whether in good or difficult circumstances, trusting in God promises. Romans 8:28 "And we know God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."
